We hope that you will spend time exploring our website to learn about our unique school community.
Our Mission: Wheatley Montessori School is committed to creating a self-stimulating learning environment where students will acquire the necessary intellectual and social skills that will instill a lifelong thirst for learning, a respect for all cultures, and an inspiration to become promoters of world peace.
Our guiding principle is directed toward children becoming the best they can be. We aim at providing an educational foundation that will prepare our students for future academic challenges. We encourage you to schedule a visit so that you may experience our school first-hand.
Families who are interested in enrollment should make an appointment with the school’s directress for an observation. We schedule twenty minute observations on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 AM. During the observation, you will sit in our Primary Classroom of multi-age three to five year olds. We ask that you please not bring your child with you. If you feel the school is a good fit for your child and family, our directress will give you an application. Once the application is returned to school with a $200 nonrefundable deposit, you will be notified immediately of your child’s acceptance; or if your child will be placed on the waitlist.
New students are expected to start school on or as close to their 3rd birthday. Schedule an observation today!

Wheatley Montessori School Inclusion Policy
Wheatley Montessori School acts in compliance with the American and Disabilities Act and other applicable federal, state or local laws pertaining to the provision of services to children with disabilities. Our goal is to meet the individual needs of the child within the structure of our program, while maintaining a healthy and safe environment for all the children and staff. We will make reasonable accommodations to afford children with disabilities full and duel enjoyment of our programs and services in the most integrated setting appropriate to their needs. We will make no assumptions concerning any individual’s abilities or disabilities and will advise parents on the process of obtaining an individual assessment to determine if we can meet each child’s need in our childcare setting. All parent student information both verbal and documented as well as any assessments will be kept confidential. Documents will only be viewed by persons completing the assessment and/or developing your child’s individual plan.
